Victim Support

Victim Support offer free, independent, and confidential advice and support to anyone who has been affected by crime, including a 24-hour helpline, and advocacy for victims of domestic abuse.

Women’s Aid is a national charity working to end domestic abuse against women and children. They have a live chat and email service for survivors, as well as information and a directory of services.

Refuge 

Refuge offers help to women and children against domestic violence. Their services include:

  • National Domestic Abuse Helpline: freephone 24-hour Helpline calling 0808 2000 247
  • Live chat service: Monday - Friday 10 am to 10 pm (Refuge can provide emotional support and information on your rights and options over live chat. However, they can only provide referrals to refuge over the phone)
  • Support in British Sign Language (BSL) from qualified BSL interpreters over the phone
